The signature Connect Team Fitness experience is a custom-tailored fitness program for small teams committed to working together to achieve their health and fitness goals. By teaming up with your friends, and with me as your coach, you will receive the support, encouragement and accountability needed to make your fitness a priority and feel healthy, strong and empowered. AND we will have a great time doing it!
The workouts are total body - consisting of cardio and strength exercises. While the sessions are high intensity in nature, I always offer low-intensity options. We focus on functional movement, agility, balance and core strength. We use body weight resistance, bands, weights, medicine balls, bosu, balance pods and more! The program consists of:
One Coach-led, high intensity team workout and check-in per week;
Optional monthly “Fitness Adventures” such as hiking, kayaking, biking, etc. for members of the Connect community (costs not included);
Complimentary participation in my Sunday morning boot camp; and
Other Connect Team Fitness community activities focused on nutrition, wellness and other topics to help you on your fitness journey.
If you desire an even more personalized fitness experience, are just getting started or want to take your training to a higher level, private or semi-private personal training is also available. I will work with you to understand your fitness needs and goals and develop a customized training program to make those goals a reality.
As a former Division I college field hockey player and coach, I know what it takes to be successful when competing at the highest levels. That success doesn't start when you step on the field or court with your uniform on. It begins when you are training all by yourself in the sweaty summer heat...when you are the only person running sprints at the local track or doing agility exercises at the neighborhood tennis court. It starts when you and your team are lugging your gear through the snow to an indoor facility to get your winter off-season workout in. I can be your partner in this journey - working with individual athletes, small groups or whole teams to help you get stronger, faster, quicker and more skilled through customized training that fits your sport(s) and individual or team goals.
